Financial Aid

Our approach to financial assistance is simple: We want to make Marietta College affordable to every qualified student who desires to attend. A high quality, private education is expensive to provide, and we will expect you to pay your fair share of its cost. However, we are a willing partner with you in making Marietta possible and, to this end, each year we commit over $14 million of our funds in financial assistance. Our program is extensive, and includes merit based scholarships; federal, state, and Marietta College need-based grants; state and federal loans; and student work study.
